Preceding the Kloster Seeon Angiogenesis Meeting 2012, the Young Investigator Meeting offers a highly informative and stimulating blend of cutting edge science and information about state-of-the-art technologies. Latest data is used to explain key principles of zebrafish and mouse genetics, imaging, neurovascular patterning, and the regulation of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis in health and disease. Short presentations selected from abstracts and a discussion round about trends and opportunities in vascular biology complete the program. Speakers include Michael Detmar (keynote lecture), Wiebke Herzog, Friedemann Kiefer, Erik Storkebaum, and Rui Benedito.
